Kate has a Master of Science degree from Waikato University and has worked in the emergency management sector for over a decade. She has held various roles throughout New Zealand including Emergency Management Officer – Waikato Valley Civil Defence, Emergency Management Advisor – Christchurch City Council, Emergency Operations Centre Manager – Christchurch Earthquake Response, Project Manager – Christchurch Red Zone Business & Resident Access Programme, Planning & Procedures Advisor – Christchurch City Council, Acting Civil Defence Emergency Management Unit Manager – Christchurch City Council and Emergency Management Officer (Community Resilience) – Taranaki Civil Defence.
Kate is focused on assisting clients with Business Continuity Planning and Emergency Management Planning so they are fully prepared if the unexpected should occur.
